Mistletoe Village will be closed from 1-5 on December 24th and 25th so that our vendors can spend time with their families. The Village WILL be open during Starry Nights that on both evenings, starting at 6pm.

MEET AND GREET WITH THE GINGERBREAD GURU!

Have you met the Gingerbread Guru?  We are proud to announce that Roger Pelcher–four-time Guinness Book of World Record title holder for largest gingerbread creations– will be visiting for a meet and greet! He’s  best known for his 2006 creation of the world’s largest gingerbread house, which was an astounding 67 feet tall. That’s a lot of gingerbread! Don’t miss out on this great opportunity!

When: December 11 and December 18, 1pm-5pm

Cost: Attending the meet and greet is FREE; $3 to decorate a gingerbread person (one per child per day)

PURCHASING TICKETS

You can purchase tickets at the entry gate at Walnut Grove Road/Farm Road (cash only).  You can pre-purchase $20 car tickets online, at First Tennessee Financial Centers or at the Shelby Farms Park Visitor Center (8am-5pm). Visitors with pre-purchased tickets can enter the show through the back gate at Mullins Station Road.  SFPC members, select sponsors, and others redeeming discounts or coupons can only do so at the entry gate (cash only) the night they came to the show.

$20 per car
$50 for limos/shuttles/minibuses/over sized vans (larger than standard personal vehicles)
$150 for motor coaches

STARRY CARRIAGE RIDES

New in 2011 – Enjoy the show on a horse-drawn carriage ride or hayride!  Available Sunday – Thursday only, first come, first served basis, cash only  Large groups that want to make a carriage or hayride reservation for a birthday party, special event or family gathering can contact Memphis Carriage Company at carriageco@hotmail.com.

Starry Carriage Ride:

$5 per vehicle at the gate plus:

$15 per adult / $10 per child (for individual riders), paid to carriage driver

OR

$60 to rent a carriage (seats up to 6 people), paid to carriage driver

Starry Hayride:

$5 per vehicle at the gate plus:

$12 per person, paid to the driver

Enter Shelby County on 1-40. At I-240 interchange, veer right to head South toward Jackson, MS. Continue south. Take Exit 13 (Walnut Grove Road) heading east. Continue east for approximately 1 mile. Take Farm Road entrance into the park.

From Little Rock
Enter Shelby County via I-40 and continue heading east toward Nashville. I-40 will turn into I-240. DO NOT EXIT AT I-240 INTERCHANGE, continue heading South toward Jackson, MS. Take Exit 13 (Walnut Grove Road) heading east. Continue east for approximately 1 mile. Take Farm Road entrance into the park.

From Jackson, MS
Enter Shelby County on I-55. At I-240 interchange, veer right to head east toward Nashville. Continue on I-240 until you reach Exit 13 (Walnut Grove Road). Veer right, heading east. Continue east for approximately 1 mile. Take Farm Road entrance into the park.

First Tennessee Starry  Nights 2011

The Mid-South’s favorite holiday event returns in 2011 and will run from November 25-December 30 at Shelby Farms Park.  New exhibits are currently being constructed along with enhancements to favorites from the past!  All Mondays in December will be closed to vehicle traffic for special Run, Walk & Ride the Starry Nights events.
